    Hi everyone,

I have uploaded the newest patched FireGL drivers (8.453.1) for the Mobility HD2600XT to rapidshare. You can download it here:

    http://rapidshare.de/files/39325640/firegl_8_453_1_xp32_063073.rar.html

Because I didnt get any response from schoko at the 8510p Thread, i patched the drivers myself. But thanks to schoko anyway because he send me some drivers a while ago. The file is NOT password protected :)

I have tested this drivers with WinXP32 and Solidworks 2008 SP0.
Realview is working really great and im impressed of the power my HDX has in rendering bigger assemblies.

So have fun with the driver, it is only for winxp32. (Filesize:74305 KB)
I havent tested the automatic installer, i dont know if it works. So give it a try and if it doesnt work, just install the drivers manually and then the CCC panel.

    @ j_love

it won´t install with automatic installer. you must use the have disk method. to make it work with the ati installer you need to fix some files used by the installer.

anyway, good you can use my patchscripts. i hope you do understand, that i can´t, and i won´t patch and upload drivers for every aticard. that is a bit too much for me.
i´d rather concentrate on making the patchscripts. and after all the patching is not too complicated, so you can do it on your own.

    best

    @schoko

Thanks for your hard work. I appreciate it.
I know that the installer must be patched, and there are some patch scripts out there but I didnt use them.
Can you give me some info on howto program these Scripts.
I think you compared the ati2mtag.sys files for the different drivers and wrote the patchscript.
Can you give me a page or tutorial on howto write these patches?
Sorry for not giving you the credit you deserve.
    Danke nochmal ;)
