I really like the compaq v3000z but im getting double minded because everyone says the graphics card is pretty weak but i don't play games on the computer any ways so i won't really mind. But the 14.1" screen is what is confusing me, i've been on a desktop my whoel life with mostly 17-19" monitors but i'm thinking a 14" will be too small and uncomfortable, but when i saw it at circuit city it seemed decent but i have no idea if it will be uncomfortable in a month or two. Anybody else have a similar problem or experience? j/w because i need to make a decision soon either a 15.4" or the 14.1".

either screen size will work fine for you. I got a 14.1" dv2000 because of its mobility. I want somthing that i can use and still have lots of space on my desk. 14.1 is fine for most people, especially those that do not play lots of games... and you won't be doing that on the v3000z. Both HP/CPQ lines do not have good graphics cards but if you don't play games, you will be fine!
