I have a 'beats' A10-4600m powered HP M6 . the AC Connector has slipped away from the edge of the bezel/case.
have any of you had this issue and found a way to pull it forward enough ?
the part [cable/harness/connector] is $25 and a LOT of R&R so I'm looking for an easier way.
it doesn't appear to be damaged, just shoved....

It could be the chassis holding the connector, where the plastic retainer has broken. Only way to find out is to look up the manual, then check your suspicions by opening it up, order a replacement. It could be part of the entire base unit, who knows, that you will have to sort out.

hoping to find, or make, a tool to grab that center post and ease it back into position.
If I have to open it up, and it still works ok, I'll just put a little loctite on the edges
