So I did the fix and put it in "fixed" mode in BIOS and noticed that the laptop heats up constantly
-
Did you set your 6770m to run all the time?
-
All I did was put it into fixed mode in the BIOS not sure what else I should do never had dual graphics
-
It gets hot because by default, you are using the 6770M when plugged in. Switch it to the Power-Saving GPU and only switch to the discreet when you need it.
-
or buck the trend and stay on Dynamic Mode
-
Ugh so annoying. If only dynamic mode switched to the 6770 for adobe and crap.
Also when i put it on the iGPU my skype video doesnt work....... -
Set the hotkeys up. Then you just press a key combo at the desktop to switch.
