    Fixed mode gets hot!

    So I did the fix and put it in "fixed" mode in BIOS and noticed that the laptop heats up constantly

    Did you set your 6770m to run all the time?

    All I did was put it into fixed mode in the BIOS not sure what else I should do never had dual graphics

    It gets hot because by default, you are using the 6770M when plugged in. Switch it to the Power-Saving GPU and only switch to the discreet when you need it.

    or buck the trend and stay on Dynamic Mode :p

    Ugh so annoying. If only dynamic mode switched to the 6770 for adobe and crap.

    Also when i put it on the iGPU my skype video doesnt work.......

    Set the hotkeys up. Then you just press a key combo at the desktop to switch.

    Really? Which version of Skype are you using? It seems to work fine for me (at least on the test screen, I have not tried calling anyone yet).

    The latest version. Its weird honestly. It says I need Direct X installed but I already have it
