    Can i flash BIOS F.1D for my HP Pavilion DV6-2174-TX which has F.1C BIOS version and SMBIOS version 2.6 dated 17-05-2010?

    SysId03=0x363E
    SysName03=HP Pavilion DV6

    This is what i get here for DV6 Notebook Series from BIOS Notes: ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp54501-55000/sp54629.cva.

    How to find my SysID?

    How to flash the BIOS safely?

    Can i flash the BIOS using battery(with full charged)?Will there be a problem if there is a power outage when connected to AC adapter and the system shifts to battery mode?

    Since i have clean installed Windows 7 so there is no HP Recovery Partition and HP_TOOLS partition?

    How to recover my BIOS incase of a failure?How to backup my previous version of BIOS in case i want to re-flash the same?

    Will HP UEFI Support Environment be useful for me? http://forum.notebookreview.com/hp-drivers-software-forum/519991-popular-hp-notebook-software.html

    You will want to update to this BIOS assuming that you have an Intel processor (F.1D):

    ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp50501-51000/sp50586.exe

    It is strongly recommended that you flash the BIOS while the notebook is connected to AC power. Problems can arise if power sources are switched during the flashing procedure.

    The Softpaq should include everything that you need to flash to the updated revision. If the flashing procedure fails, you may have to recover the BIOS using this procedure - Restoring the BIOS | HP® Support
