Hey guys Im having a problem with fullscreen problems with flash on firefox and chrome. Whenever i go full screen theres a small portion that doesnt show on the right.

So this causes a portion not to show, and the mouse isnt calibrated with the screen. For example if i click somewhere , the actual click happens to the left of where i clicked. So its an annoying issue.

O btw im using the 720p 1330 by 768 screen on my dv6t. IE9 isnt making this problem. So im guessing its a software issue. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it to no avail. Does anybody know how to fix it?

    Thank You

While watching a Flash video, right click on it, select settings, and uncheck the "enable hardware acceleration" box.

It worked! Thanks. But why is this causing it to do this? Just a little curious

Bugs in the video driver. By disabling hardware acceleration you are making the CPU do all the work. Which is the most compatible, but not the fastest method.

GPU acceleration is something new to Flash anyway, so it'll take them like 10 years to iron out all the bugs.

I had this problem, too. It occurred on fullscreen flash videos and also games using DirectX10. It can be solved by installing the latest graphics drivers from HP. Then it will work on flash videos regardless of whether hardware acceleration is on and it will fix the problem in games, if that affects you.
This is how I solved my problem:
