    Yes. Difference is that it works consistently and has less lag than the blue bar.

    will it exit full screen programs when volume is changed? the reason i dont have an OSD on my envy atm.

    It will not cause full screen programmes to exit, hence the reason why I'm still using it.

    I concur. On my Envy 14 (Sandy Bridge version), it adjusts the brightness and volume without even displaying the indicator on-screen when I'm using a full screen program like a game. It just does the job without blocking your view in any way.

    I like the way it works.
