    Forgot to add free printer to order :(

    I ordered dv6700t.I got it with $400 off on $1299 coupon but I am not sure if then they had the free deskjet printer with it.
    It is there now with the same configuration. Is there any policy according to which I may be able to get it now?

    Except that coupon code already expired. But I think there is another coupon for up to $350 off for $999 and up purchase. I ordered using the $400 coupon, but may decide to cancel and re-order using the newer coupon. I actually added in stuff I didn't need, to use the coupon.

    When did you order and actually ship? I'm just curious since I've ordered on 13th and it's still in production. I thought it would only take a week like my last order in 2007.

    I forgot to add lightscribe when I ordered my dv6500t. I called two minutes after I placed order online and they said they could not add it. In this regard, HP scores very low. At least Dell has a modify department that can alter orders. What I did was say I would cancel and re-order.. That is one thing they don't want you to do. The rep offered me a 100 dollars to keep the order as is. So I excepted that. But the credit was not immediate and I had to wait until I received the laptop and then I called them back and gave the support reps name that offered the 100 dollars. They weren't to happy but they did credit my account with the additional 100 off. Not sure you can get a hundred off since the printer you are getting is most likely not even worth that. But if you threaten to send it back they CANNOT sell it new anymore and would probably loose much more then a hundred so I think you may be able to get that much as well.
