What is the difference between the recovery partition and the recovery dvd i had to make? Do you need the recovery dvd to do a format? Or works it fine only with the partition? And ho do you do it than with the partition? One last question :D When you made your recovery cd after you installed a few progs is the recovery then messed up?

    thanks

    Same thing, different format.
    No, partition can do it.
Works, but make a recovery disc in case the partition is corrupted.
Either initialize from a program in Windows, or boot to the partition.
    No.
