I recently formatted my brother's HP Pavillion ze5700 (I'm pretty sure that's what it is) because it was not functioning properly. It works fine now, but unfortunately it is not recognizing the internal wireless adapter. Prior to formatting it, the internal wireless worked fine. Now, the computer does not even dispaly the internal wireless in the hardware list. I cannot find it in the "Network Connections" screen. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

any chance that it is just disabled in bios ?
don“t know that model, but some notebooks do have a switch for the wireless to turn it on and off ? maybe.... -
You need to install the driver for the wireless adapter. Do you have any unknown devices in Device Manager?

Install the drivers for the wireless

It's an HP Pavillion ze5700.
It does have the little button at the bottom right of the keyboard (just over the edge), for the wireless. The light is on suggesting that it's working, but even when I press it to try to activate it, it's still not recognized...
I'll try installing the drivers. I'd get them from the HP website right? Just want to make sure.
Thanks.
Formatted comp, now won't recognize internal wireless
