I've noticed some "instant savings" stuff, along with free RAM upgrades, free hard drive upgrades, and free shipping on HP laptops on their website. Does anyone know when these will expire?

I'd seen passing dates on other sites saying Aug 12th (today), but who knows if HP plans to extend it or come up with new incentives (as they usually do).......

There will always be some type of offer. It lures a lot of people in.

Hmm. I suspected that, but I won't be able to order before Sunday. Here's hoping..

Thanks for the replies. I'm looking at either a dv5z or a dv2700t, by the way.

Those sorts of "free" offers, will often remain for extended periods of time.

Coupon offers such as $400 off $1299+ purchase, which is going on right now via the code: NB6997 come can go. These tend to give you better discounts compared to HP instant discounts. This particular code will expire soon, but HP usually launches a new coupon ~2-3 months later. Before buying from HP, Dell, or any large custom order site, Google for "HP coupon" etc to make sure that you're getting the best deal.
