    does it take the discount off when you add it to the cart? I noticed that with the APP stuff, some rebates didnt show until you added it to the cart...

    Hey s4iscool, if you are customizing a laptop all the rebates and offers should appear at the 'customize screen' before you add it to the cart.

    yeah i know what you mean, but for some reason a $50 instant rebate wasnt showing when I was building, even though the box to the left showed it. When I add the comp to the cart, that is when that $50 wold be deducted.

    HP's price is in real mess now.

    DV2000t/z is post in free DVD/RW upgrade, but really not happened. The price is till there for 3 day after they post it.

    V3000z actually has this DVD /RW free upgrade; and the price is correct. But, it also post 1GB free upgrade without corresponding price cut.

    What a mess.
