Free xbox 360 with dv6t?

I purchased a dv6t laptop few weeks ago using the 30% off coupon and the free xbox 360 deal started right after I bought it. Do you think the HP would honor the deal and send me an xbox?

I am about to buy this laptop with the $200 off coupon and was going to try and get the xbox 360 also but I just read in the fine print that it says "Offer is NOT combinable with other coupons" I was thinking about calling in and trying any way but in your case I would doubt they would do it but it is worth a shot I guess.

Do you think I should wait for a 30% off coupon before I buy mine or do you think just $200 off is worth it.

Right now the base model dv6t quad edition with $200 off plus shipping and tax comes out to $884.23. How much did you pay for yours?

 

I paid $923.78 after shipping and tax. I guess it really depends on how much extra you save by using the 30% off coupon. I saved about $373.50 with the 30% coupon, so in my case, it was definitely worth it. How much would you save if you were to use the 30% off coupon? If it's less than $250, I think ordering it right now would be better.

I would be saving about $300 with the 30% coupon but it has expired so I would be saving only $200 with the $200 off coupon but I think I would be able to get the free xbox 360 with it which I could turn around and sell for at least $100 on c raigslist or maybe even $150.

 

Anyone have any lucking combining the 360 with the $200 off coupon????? I called in and they asked me if I had any family members in college. I said "yeah my sister" They said can I get the name and zip code of the college and that was all they needed for me to qualify for the free xbox 360.

But then when I gave them my coupon code for $200 off they said I couldn't combine the 360 and coupon.

 

Did u say u won't buy without coupon and xbox. And I have seen someone that got xbox with like $400 coupon

 

Yeah after they told me I couldn't combine them both I asked them if they could take another $80 off after the $200 off coupon(making it $800 even after tax) and they said they couldn't do that either. Then they went into telling me how this is the second generation processsor yadda yadda yah.

 

I called Microsoft to ask about this and they told me the offer is only compatible with laptops that they sell on the Microsoft Online store, and they don't sell the dv6t on there.

What's the coupon code? The only one I can find is the coupon for $375 off: NBU29176

 

^ closest I could get to $1000 (before tax) for the dv6tQE with the NBU29176 promo code giving me the $375 off.

Downgrade to the 1GB graphics card. No game will be able to take advantage of 2GB because the graphics core will max out before any memory past 1GB provides any advantage.

 

They're not going to combine the two. Anyone who told you that they got the coupon+the 360 is lying.
