Frequency of HP "big ones" ?

Hi guys,

I haven't posted here in a long time but I just had a quick question for those that have been watching HP over the summer.

How often this year has HP been offering those big 30% discounts on their pavilions? I remember seeing a 30% coupon I think sometime in June (?) but have there been any other big discounts recently before the one that just expired a couple days ago? In your opinion, will HP offer another big 30% in a couple of weeks or so?

Should we be on the lookout for big discounts for the holiday season maybe?

I don't think 30% will be out for a while - let's just hope I'm wrong - because a new 30% coupon came out 3 months after June... You may have to wait 2-4 months before HP decides to make one again. And if it comes out, I'd use it as quickly as possible because a day after I ordered with 30%, I found out that it expired.

As for holidays, yeah I think they'll have great deals on RAMs, HD's, and discounts. Well, they should because it'll be a holiday season.

There was a 30% off coupon when I bought mine on 9/10?

 

The last 30% coupon was available starting 9/11/07. I bought mine on 9/12/07 using this coupon and my total discount was $654. It was suppose to run till 9/22 but they already had too many responses so they expired the coupon. There is still a coupon available for 20%. It is listed in the discount / student thread. It was suppose to expire on 9/12 but it still works.

 

The 20% coupon is set to run until 9/22/07, but as I've seen in the past they have been running the 20% coupon very often.

 

I've also seen the 20% coupon quite often. The 30% one is quite a rarity.
