This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Hi,

    Finally, I have successfully install XP pro (fresh), with bootable Quickplay. What I did differently from previous times was I restarted the computer right away when prompted after installing HPQPDP; and I would recommand people doing the same thing, do not setup QPW and QLB after HPQPDP without restart.

    I've got a new minor problem, the icons in the quicklaunch on the taskbar become big (the icon such as SHOW DESKTOP, INTERNET EXPLORER, OUTLOOK EXPRESS, WMP...). Big enough that there are only two icons shown. I tried to select small icon in taskbar properties but it only minimized the icon in START MENU, not the quicklaunch icons.

    Any ideas?
