The battery actually died when it was on last night and I when I go to boot it up with his quickplay buttons(since the power button isnt doing anything), it gives me the the quickplay options and the windows option. But, the windows option only puts it back into hibernation. I tried a hard restart where I take out the battery and unplug it for a minute, but nothing. Pushing f8 while starting and selecting some option for deleting boot data did not do anything either. Help!

Hairy W. Bush?!?!
Hahahaahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahaahahahah. Sorry bro, that's funny!
As to your situation: Pull the batt and leave it out. Plug in the lappy and HOLD the power button for like 10-15 secs, way after it has come on. Then do the same thing again to turn it off, hold for 10-15 secs, way after it has powered off. Now the moment of truth: push the power button normally to turn it on and as soon as you hear or see HDD activity PULL THE POWER CORD OUT. Then plug in the power again and all should boot normally. You will receive an error for Windoze not booting right but thats better than being in a loop forever. Good luck and keep us posted. -
lol glad you like the name. I use it at a few other places too.
Anyway, I held it down harder and longer like you said and it booted up fine. Any other problems and I will get back to you.
