    Hello everyone,

Haven't spoken in this sub-forum for a while. Just letting you know that I will be swapping over from the HP Envy 17 3d 2070 to a new dv7-7008tx due to constant overheating and other issues with the ENVY :( At first HP were not going to replace the laptop with a new one since this ENVY was from the US (Ebay) and I live in Australia and wanted to keep repairing it instead. However, now, they are willing to swap over to this laptop.

Just want to know whether you guys think that a swap over to this laptop is a good suggestion from laptop? I wanted one of the newer HP Envy 17 3d 3000 series laptops however, they advised they won't be able to offer that to me since its not on the system or something like that. But i'm actually happy that Ill be receiving a new laptop either way.

    What are your opinions?

dv7 7xxx might be a great laptop but if I were you I'd ask how long the wait for the envies... with the envy 32xx around the corner, i'd have them send you that even if you have to wait another month.
