I have a model C555NR Compaq that I have removed Vista from and installed XP. I have been able to get most things working except for 2 devices that are showing as Unknown Device and PCI Device that don't have drivers installed.
My problem is that I can't get the sound working. When I try to play anything, windows player says that it can't find the sound device. I have tried downloading device drivers for the audio but they won't install. I get the message that can't find a sound device.
    Does anyone have any suggestions?
