I have a problem I have a dv6tqe and, I got a 32'' TV that supports 1080p so when I hook up the laptop via hdmi it shows a that the recommended resolution is 1360x768. When I play a game like skyrim it bumps up to 1080p and when i play a video that is 1080p it still stays at the 1360x720 resolution is there any way to bump the resolution when watching a movie to 1080p.

Still, maybe you have 1360x768 tv? HD Ready. It still can open 1080p but with downscale.
