I just picked up this computer 9 days ago. And so far it is worlds better than my last computer (DV8408). That things was a battery hogging monster.

But this one is not without it's problems.

Forst, The scroll pad that is in the touchpad. It seems if I try to scroll to the bottom of the page "too fast" it will scroll down a little, jump back to the top, scroll down a little, jump back up, and repeat depending on hwo far and fast I tried to scroll.

If I go at a moderate pace, it has no problem scrolling. But it takes me about 10 scrolls to get to the bottom of a forum thread. It is moderately annoying but I can live with it if need be.

The most annoying thing is my internet connection.

I have wireless networking set up at home and it always connects as soon as I turn on the computer.

I installed the drivers to use my cell phone as a modem for when I am not at home and need internet access. It works great. With one minor flaw.

Every so often I will get this screen:

Even if I am at home connected to my wireless network (as seein in the pic by the red arrow) it wants to connect through my cell phone. If I am in my car using my diagnostics cable, it wants to connect to the internet through my phone.

To make matters worse, If I am at home connected to my wireless network, and that screen comes up, I will usually click cancel or the red X. As soon as I go to a different web page, I get this:

I am kinda computer savy, But I really don't know what to do here.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.
