I cant take it anymore! my 2.4 ghz logitech V450 transforms itself into an unresponsive piece of crap everytime i connect to my wifi.

is there anything i can do to remedy this? change a channel, or something?

This is the best mouse i've ever owned, and it took me like wireless mice to get to this one.

    please help!

Well aphex that is interesting indeed. You could try changing the channels, but I think it's the GHz band that is causing interference I have a Logitech 2.4GHz mouse, a 2.4Ghz phone and a 2.4Ghz wireless router... All of them work fine usually but I've experienced some strange things over the past few months.

If all else fails try getting yourself a new router or mouse on a different band. (E.g. 2.2GHz, 2.5GHz ect)

Logitech also makes a good Bluetooth mouse if you are equipped with Bluetooth the V2700 I believe.

Switch your WiFi signal to the lowest frequency possible. That should help a little bit.

I've never had a problem with any other mice! i've owned 2 other logitech mice that were 2.4 ghz, and they worked fine with my dell and wrt54gl.

I have a custum firmware on my router that allows me to boost the "range". i think i'm going to have to try a bunch of different things. i had a feeling it was just the fact that it was 2.4 ghz. thank god my phone is 5 ghz, otherwise i'd prolly be xtra screwed!

If you boost the range your increasing the power of the signal. That might be the cause of your problem.

If you are using your router within the home or just in your backyard, you can probably not boost the range and still get full functionality.

All you have to do is change the channel on the router

Well technically yes. Like i said, i've owned 2 other 2.4ghz logitech mice, that i have not had this sort of problem with, but with those my configuration was slightly different. it was on a Dell laptop, for the most part, a different (netgear piece of crap) router.

I'll look into changes on my router. hopefully can remedy it, because honestly i would really like to start using my wifi as my permanent internet source. I have a ps3 and 360 hooked up wireless, so it extremely convenient.

I refuse to get rid of my V450. its the best mouse ever.

i wish i would have ordered my dv6000t with bluetooth now :(. cause you just never know...
