What is the best one to download?
Do I need to get rid of current drivers?
How do I check what driver I currently have?
I tried downloading the latest one on that driver website (laptop2go), all it did was extract and nothing else came up? Does this mean its installed properly?

It's advised that you uninstall your current one so that there aren't any conflicting issues.
What I would do:
- Go into Add/Remove Programs.
- Select Nvidia Drivers and click remove/uninstall.
- Once it's done, restart your computer.
- Right after the BIOS loads, click F8 to boot into Safe Mode.
- Run a driver cleaner such as Driver Sweeper (download) and also run CCleaner (download) for the heck of it.
- Restart the computer.
- When Windows loads back up, run the setup.exe file in the extracted folder. Make sure you replaced the modified .INF file with the original .INF file.
- Restart and you're good to go.

Download GPU-z to begin wtih.

You can get good hacked drivers here:
http://laptopvideo2go.com/
A hacked driver is essentially an NVIDIA driver release that is meant for desktops, but has a modified .INF file to allow your notebook to use them. A .INF file is like a text file that includes permissions for certain GPUs. As with desktop drivers, they vary in performance. I advise trying out one with several thousand downloads. -

I've found that the give better performance then the ones on HP's website. NVIDIA isn't too awesome with support for their mobile GPUs.

I'm debated whether to use the drivers from nvidia or laptopvideo2go.com

Make the leap of faith, I am. Who cares. What could be the downside? The system blows up? That's why I love ADP warranties...I just wanna see the reaction by the support people when they open up the box when I send it in lol.
