    I just upgraded my hp dv6t 6100 to windows 8 pro but now Im not sure how to switch from my power saving GPU to my stronger GPU. On windows 7 I'd just right click the desktop and there was a menu for graphic switching but now that menu is no longer there. Any ideas how to accomplish this?

    Install the newest HP driver for your notebook. Listed in the forum's hp driver section.
