mine also runs at that temp when idling. Though when gaming it can go up to 80C. I have a Nvidia 8600M GS

i got the dv9500t with 8600m gs to when playing music and using Firefox its at 49C and when playing games like BF2 and UT3 its at 74C and 63C when i put it up on blocks. when playing games put something under the back of your laptop like a block or pen or anything thats sturdy and it will decrease your temp by about 10C. only do this when gaming because it wont cool it any when just idling

mine idles a bit higher than yours but i notice that if I put it up a bit at the back the temps go down quite a bit, by approx 10C. One interesting thing is that when I turned of anti-ailising in age of empires 3 my temps stayed quite a bit cooler.
