Tried Trixx, MSI,and Asus, so far nothing has unlocked the 7850M. Curious what others are using. If I happen to find a solution I will post as well.
    Thanks,

Refer to the Envy 17 thread..Not the owner's thread but the "Now Available" thread. There is a guy who overclocked it safely and it runs stable temps

Thanks, unless it is a different post than what I read, no mention of what utility he used.

    Install MSI Afterburner v2.22
Then edit the config file as follows:
    Code:
    [ATIADLHAL]
    UnofficialOverclockingMode=1
UnofficialOverclockingEULA=I confirm that I am aware of unofficial overclocking limitations and fully understand that MSI will not provide me any support on it

Then extract these files to the Afterburner directory:
Download ATIDrivers.zip from Sendspace.com - send big files the easy way

Then run 3DMark11 or a game that makes the 7850M kick in.

    Then run MSI Afterburner.

You should be able to adjust the clocks now.

Work great, thank you MacHater. Still, a bit disappointed in the Windows Index Score of 6.8 even with a 800/1250 o/c. I'm was not looking for what my monster desktop with dual 6970s score out at, but nonetheless, at least in the mid 7's. Tried to update drivers, AMD site says not compatible. Go figure...

    You need to install these:
AMD Catalyst ™ 12.7 Beta Driver

    And then install this:
    http://www2.ati.com/drivers/hotfix/catalyst_application_profiles/amd_catalyst_12.7_cap1.exe

Don't spend too much time with WEI, it's pretty pointless. It also doesn't pick up the Radeon card, that's why you see that low score.
