    Hi Guys.

I'm trying to play GTA 4 on my dv6, but alas it is not running a well as other dv6 owners with identical specs. It runs pretty poorly compared to theirs. They're getting frames over 40 on high settings. My frames on medium settings only go as far as 30 and usually stay in the 15-20 area.

Something tells me it's something to do with the cpu, but it isn't overheating. The hottest it's getting is 75 degrees. GPU gets up to 80 degrees but stays under that most of the time. I'm using the latest drivers from HP's website 8.882.2.3000 and I am wondering if that is the issue. My power settings are on high performance and I have disabled hyperthreading as with HT on the performance was much worse and it was only using up to 40% of the CPU while playing. It seems to only affect GTA 4 as I can play other games just fine with no lags and all cores operating at full capacity. I did a stress test to and it went up to 100%. What could the problem be?
