    Hey guys, I just reformatted my hp dv9500t with the nvidia 8600m 256. The first thing when I installed vista was graphics driver, steam and directx. My performace in cs source with 1024 768 everything on high is 70-80 constant. Does anyone know why this is? I can remember having a much better FPS than this.

    I am using 169.28 drivers.

    try different drivers, and run windows update aswell.

    well I did all the above and I still get 70-100 fps, I guess its a bit better, but not better as before :(
