    Obviously the DV2 would be a better "gaming" laptop.

    you would think,but isnt the Geforce 9400 more powerful than the Radeon 3410?

    Its basically weaker CPU/stronger GPU vs stronger CPU/weaker GPU

    the 3410 would be faster than the 9400 but not by much. The main advantage would really be the larger framebuffer allowed on the 3410. would allow for slightly better quality levels at the same frame rates.
