Was trying to burn a few pink floyd mp3 without the gap but CDburnerXP pro3 reports back that my CD-RW/DVD-RW drive doesn't support disc-at-once burning (which is equivalent to gapless burning I suppose)....is this true? I thought all modern drive support disc at once buring already, no?

    Matsita DVD-RAM UJ-850S

I thought all V3000 shipped with the same CD-RW/DVD-RW drive.

Would love to try other software...but don't have them on hand. How good is the burning software that came with V3000? Does it support gapless burn?

Yeah, its OK for an OEM product & casual burning. Its basically Roxio underneath with some features disabled but is still capable of DAO burning. Most products should have a free trial. Try them out and see if the problem is the software or the hardware.
