I am not able to use search feature of the board, so I am not sure if someone has posted about it before. I am using Win7 Ultimate with Authentec Fingerprint Scanner and DigitalPersona 4. But since last month I am getting this "reader not detected" message on logon screen and I cant use fingerprints to logon. The problem arises after couple of days of laptop running without restart, however a simple restart fixes the issue, but it comes back after another couple of days use. Anyone else found a way to solve this problem?
