How do I get rid of the HP popups that show up on the screen at a frequent, annoying rate?

These are the popups trying to get me to buy extended service, checking for internet service, and other messages.

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks,

    Bill

    If you use Vista:

    1) Go to start

    2) Search for "Task Scheduler" and open it

    3) Go to the Task Scheduler Library

    4) There should be entries such as "Internet Signup" or something similar having to do with those popups. It'll also say triggers like every 15 minutes once triggered.

    5) Select the ones you don't want and delete them.

That should solve most of the annoying HP pop up reminders/offers.
