    I'm going to best buy tonight with my dad to get the Dv5t.
    I'm very happy because its the notebook i really want, and its on sale.

    So
    besides maybe a magical anti glare thing (i know they exist)
    anything else i should get while im there?

    i have a mouse from my desktop, i want to get an external hdd, anything else i need?


    i will be transferring my music/pictures from xp 32 bit to vista ult 64 bit via external hdd, will i encounter any problems

    also, what is this BIOS thing i see? a new one? what? what?

    You might want a case of some sort.

    Are you sure that Best Buy has a better deal then HP's own website? And are you sure you are ok with the specs that Best Buy offers. Remember you can configure the DV5T to the exact specs you want and have it made especially for you on HP.com.

    You can update the BIOS yourself, it's a free update.

    Yes you can transfer them over a wireless network (using shared folders) or via an external USB/firewire HDD.

    buying online is more expensive, and while i would do it anyway, my parents wouldnt let me. but the hp one is a great deal and is what i need and like. Ill do the bios thing if i google the link, thanks :D
