    Ghosting Window 7.
I was wondering If a ghost disk is a viable substitute for recovery disks? And if so how would I go about doing that, I dont really wanna waste all those DVDs doing a set of Recovery Disks.
Also. What part of SW_SETUP do I re-install, is there a guide as to which .exe's are what, its all sorta cryptic code to me.

Someone suggested looking at the SWSETUP.txt file in that directory but to me it contains the same information as looking at the file paths themselves. Most of the stuff is in pretty descriptive folders so which ones are you unsure of?

stuff you wanna reinstall: Everything in the drivers folder.

HPQL if you want your wifi button to work again.

HP Mediasmart smart menu if you want the mute button light to work again (albeit I used the smart menu d/l from hp's website. not sure if it's the same as the swsetup one)

HP Protect data smart thing for the drivers for the hdd protect stuff if you don't have a ssd (or if you do too *shrugs* not sure if that stuff comes with the ssd too)

    and then uh...that's about it.
