    Hi all...

Yesterday, I ordered L2000 for my new laptop but after I saw new dv and q series, I am really confused... so I am thinking of returning my L2000 and buying one of new dv or q series..

Anyway, yesterday.. I looked up a lot of internet sites for getting some information about new dv and q series and I found a site. It is korean computer site and has a bunch of pictures of new series...

I think HP got a new model launching serimony in Korea around two weeks ago.
If you got into the site below, you can see a bunch of pictures....

SO.. what do you think...Is glossy looks better than non-glossy one?
and one more thing... in the new dv2000 specs, they say that it is 1 inch thick.. but if you look some pictures in this site, you will see that 1 inch is not overall thickness but front thinnest part... That front part is thinner than that of new Q3000.

    Enjoy!!

Glossy v matte is a personal issue, I like glossy and wouldn't consider anything else.

On the 1" thing, that's a marketing gimmick, everyone does it.

Actually, I am not talking about "Glossy" for LCD screen but entire body...

When you see some pictures in that website, you can see strong reflected lights on the body of the new Q3000. As HP told us.. the surface of entire body look like glossy piano surface !! I think on the top of the surface, they coated clear glossy finish material....

That would be painful to carry a piano like polished surface. My fingerprint would be all over the place.

    The other things are:
Why HP are more like a SONY?
Why HP business books are more like IBM?

What is HP brand for? Why copy others idea?

I thought it was the v3000 and not the Q3000? I think the v3000 plus the dual core X2 and the nvidia card hopefully will be a really good combination and the dv2000 look of the "zen lines" are sleek, but its a massive fingerprint magnet.
