    Hi guys,

I have this glowing white spots on my V3000 LCD screen. At first it was only one, but now it has increased to 3! I know it's not dead pixel.

Upon searching the net, saw a similar problem from powerbook user

Just wonder if any HP/Compaq users has this problem like mine

If it is the same issue as the old "white spots" issue on PowerBooks a few years ago, you will definitely want to get it fixed.

I have the same problems. My glowing spots are light grey and are visible only on dark background. I first noticed this spots couple of days ago on my nc8430. Are we speaking about the same problem...? Here is my photo where you can see two spots, one right in the middle and another one in upper right
