I am going to install MSDN version Win 7 on my dv6700. Is there any issues, esp. drivers issues so far with this setup? Do current vista drivers work well with Windows 7?
I am not concerned about big things like display drivers. I am just crossing fingers for drivers like authentec, wifi and bluetooth?

Wifi and BT working fine here... They did work out of the box but i highly recommend you to install the Vista drivers from HP, with the MS ones you'll have DPC latency issues that will manifest themselves as sound and video dropouts.

Installed Win7. Installed authetec drivers, then digitalpersona, but digitalpersona cant detect the fingerprint reader. I tried authentec version 8.0.10 as well as 7.9. but every time I uninstall version 8.0.10, it reinstalls itself and overrides version 7.9. The included Authentec TruSuite 2.0 app, which I beleive is included with either authentec 8.0.10 drivers, can read fingerprints fine and log me into windows as well, but why cant digitalpersona do it? Any ideas?
