HP Canada is having a clearence and I saw the nc8430 for sale.

    Core 2 Duo 1.83GHz
    1 GB of ram
    80 GB 5400 rpm HDD
    ATI x1600

Is this a good deal? It says you save $800 but I dont know if $1400 is worth the specs.

Also, if I was to get this computer, what can I do to try to convince the sales person (on phone) to give me extra free stuff such as a printer/bag/mouse/etc... What arguments do some people use? I would like some pointers because I suck at these things.

    Thanks

Does it come with warranty? I'd say this is an alright deal, but you may find it cheaper on ebay. Does it come with any warranty?
If you do get it from hp.com, you might want to try tell the sales person that you're looking at a similar dell notebook and trying to decided between the 2. I don't know if HP does this, but Dell will usually knock off $100
