So i just received my new envy 15 3200, and every game i've tried so far (battlefield 3, dirt 3) run pretty well with a good framerate... but battlefield 3 has terrible mouse lag which makes it pretty much impossible to play, as well as dirt 3 having input lag on the keyboard which makes is frustrating when you need split second inputs. Does anybody else with an hp envy 15 have input lag in their games?

Reducing the resolution in games helps a little bit, but only because it makes the framerate super smooth. I am find with 25-30 fps in games but i need to have no input lag :[

This is extremely frustrating because i had this issue in my 4 year old laptop (where i could play games at a good framerate but all games had input lag)... is it just the limitation of the card? Will i never be able to play games like battlefield 3 or dirt 3 without any input lag? :[ (even on a brand new laptop with one of the best GPUs you can get in a 15 inch laptop...)

While my Envy Has not arrived yet ... I have 2 recommendations for you:

    1. Make sure you configure each game to run on the 7750 using the catalyst control panel and assigning the program to the "high performance" setting.
    2. When playing try turning cool sense off (I've herd this works for some games on the 17" so I figured the same would work on the 15).

Note that I understand the above are graphics tweaks ... but worth a shot.

If these do not work ... post what your input device is and what port you have it connected ...

    Just my .02 ...

I have configured them for high performance, and turned coolsense off and still have the issues. The device/port does not matter... as i am getting input lag from the keyboard/mousepad as well.
