    HP Pavilion dv7t 7000 Quad Edition

    3rd Generation Intel core i7 3610QM (2.6 GHz 8MB L3 Cache)

    Nvidia GeForce GT 650 Graphics

    1 TB HDD 5400 rpm

    12 GB RAM

    Things I'll be using it for:
    Minecraft (I'm a nerd, so... yeah), writing, entertainment (movies, video, music), music and video production

    Sounds okay. Just make sure that you aren't paying too much for that amount of RAM.

    Its about 1500$ but money isn't an issue. I mean if it's over like 2000, than I won't buy it and I'll look for something else but this one is fine. I really tried to cut all of the unnecessary extra things and trying to keep it as cheap as possible.

    Look for the 450 off coupons from HP. You should be just over 1000 for that config. Whats in my signature ran about 1300 shipped. 12GB of ram really isn't needed. 8GB is usually included in the base config and should be fine.
