What's a good temperature for dv9500t during game play? Mine is usually at 75 degrees Celsius and I overclocked my 8600 a bit.

I've got a DV9266EU which I assume is quite similiar to yours. GeForce GO 7600 in this one. 71 degrees celsius after playing a game for a while.

Question, how did you overclock the card? How do I overclock the cpu?

Those temps are normal for play? So an average temp of about 52 for each core is okay running normally (about 5 Firefox tabs, 4 gadgets, Logitech webcam)?

my temps have never gone above 71 for the CPU and the HDD has never gone above 52 when gaming for a while. So I guess I am safe

My temp in rivatuner goes to 104C with a good overclock when the notebook is sitting on the table. But if I set it on a book or a couple magazines, it drops to 79C while in game...

i use speedfan to monitor cpu and hdd temps.
What I found was that when gaming, putting the back of the notebook on a book reduced the temps by about 10*C. Though what I also found is that when idling my temps seems to stay lower if it is just normally on a table.

i also use speedfan as a temperature monitor. any idea what enabling the "automatic fan speed" does? isn't it alread automatically done by the computer without the help of speedfan? (check screenshot)
