I got it this evening and I must say it is awsome very quiet, very cool, fan hardly ever runs and with the 6 cell extended battery I am getting around 3 - 3 1/2 hours run time and that was while I was installing and unistalling some heavy programs. I was a little worried with all the posts about the heat, noise, and battery run time but I must have got a winner. I am so glad I returned my piece of crap dell 1520 because this thing is lots better in ever way for me.

BTW I have the Phillips screen and the Hitachi HDD if that is a good thing or not.

Disable Aero, and Sidebar and then your battery will run longer, I tested tis on my other laptop when had it and timed it running the same applications and withe Aero and Sidebar off you will gain 20 - 30 mins more run time on a charge.

Congrats. I too have got LG Philips screen and Toshiba hard drive and I have no problems. Anyways if your screen is looking good then it should not be a problem. So why worry? Enjoy your new lappy!!

Well I must try this out. I barely get 2 hours.
