    Hello,

2 weeks ago an issue started to occur every an hour or so, it all started when I installed WoW, whenever I play WoW "or any other game, after installing WoW" the screen goes black.

Sometimes seconds before it goes black a color strips comes up then it goes black, the laptop doesn't hang or anything, sounds works fine and everything is the same expect the screen doesn't work anymore.

I tried everything possible "saving format for last", reinstalling drivers, all kind of tests that provided by HP, reinstalling the games, monitoring heating "I'm using NZXT laptop cooler.

yet the problem still happens endlessly. also I use "24 Asus LED screen, but the graphic crashes with it and without it.

I was wondering if anyone is having the same problem or used to have it.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that sometimes when I switch from Intel to ATI the color strips pops a second before the screen goes black and switch to ATI.

    Thank you

My netbook got this problem as well. If everything thing is up to date and you're still having problems, there may be something wrong with the hardware.

Does the Intel do this at all? (Besides when switching)

It is nearly dead now. It only turns on now, doesn't boot to windows.

I would back up your data and send it in a timely manner, assuming you can. At least in your case you have a back up graphics card. ;)

Someone else would have to give you a correct answer on that.

    Was is new and unopened?

Or most likely used and opened?

Lol, there is such a thing called a WARRANTY! Sounds like you'll be fine mate. Just call HP at their 800 number and they'll take care of you, I'm sure, lol.
