Hello guys, I'm hoping someone can shed some light on my situation. I have a friend who game me a bunch of 1080P movie files. When I loaded them on my Envy the movies do not play smoothly. the video quality is great other then the movie not running smoothly. My specs on the Envy are...

    4GB of Ram
    M 450 @ 2.40GHz I5 CPU

Is the graphics card at fault or maybe the Ram?

WHen I play the movies on my Desktop computer with 6GB of Ram, 530 @ 2.93 ghz I3 CPU it runs flawlessly.

Any ideas anyone? I thought these envy's were suppose to be pretty powerful computers, no?

    ................................

My second questions. My ram seems to stay pretty consistently at 46% Ram usage. Is that normal? I don't remember it being that high before although I never really kept a close watch on it. My desktop usage of Ram is consistently at less then 24%. That is quite a big difference.

    ....

    Thank you for any help

    6gb ram @24% = 1.44gb usage
    4gb ram @46% = 1.84gb usage
probably more bloatware being loaded onto your envy...i think many people do a clean install etc...
