    can someone tell me if this is good. My video has been doing weird things like I get a 4 bit screen and lines on the atart up page. i was getting blue screen. Http://3dmark.com/3dm06/15633586

    Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)

    Sounds like the dreaded Nvidia dead GPU issue. Bad solder. Lots of info about it and the lawsuit lower down.
    I had weird lines and squares combined with a blank screens. new motherboard off ebay fixed my DV9774 for as long as that one lasts!

    What model is your laptop?
