I have looked through multiple threads and benchmarks to find the best "Current" driver but it seems too difficult to find the answer.

I understand its different for different games, however I am really looking for OVERALL the best performing drivers because I play...a high variety of games.

I'm currently on Leshcat 12.2 but feel like this driver would have been outdated, I have the ATI 6770M from the previous HP DV6T Quad edition and would appreciate it if someone could fill me in on the current details of the available and good drivers.

I used to follow it actively but since I found this driver to be pretty solid I fell out of the whole...driver scene.

Sorry I had to make a thread for this but any help would be great.

    Thanks in advance!

I say Leshcat 12.6 UP3 and 12.7 Jun28 Official Beta is worth to upgrade over 12.2 but do check if your laptop suffer from black screen when waking up from sleep.

Leshcat 12.8 is running very well for me, at least for Guild Wars 2 and normal desktop activites. Going to try Battlefield 3 at some point.

I'll try all three of those, thanks for your suggestions, and @xAcid9 I don't seem to have the problem of suffering from black screen when waking from sleep.

Tried them...and WOW the results I'm getting with the 12.7 June 28 are pretty phenomenal. Although I can't really discern my FPS numbers because I didn't bother to check...in GW2 particularly the difference was quite dramatic.

    Thanks again!

Hey , im using the 12.7 Beta from AMD site . Is there a difference between the 12.7 Beta and Leshcat's UNIFL 12.7 Beta ?

Well, the AMD one sometimes has problems functioning properly with our hybrid graphics so...what Leshcat does is kind of tune it for our computers.

Also there are many refinements and bug fixes that happen, in general Leshcat's drivers are really just better overall.

Here is the one I am using... Catalyst 12.7 Jun28 Official Beta UnifL for Hybrid Graphics

It's up to you, but personally if you're 12.7 from AMD works fine then...no point in upgrading if you ask me.

I am on HP's official drivers, which I believe are 11.8? Can I just download the file from Leshcat and install it, or will I have to do some cleanup, etc?

If you read his description well there is an "English FAQ," all your questions are answered there.
