I am seriously considering buying an HP dv5t, and I am hoping to keep the price down (below $800, if possible). My question: is the Intel GMA4500MHD fine for non-gamers? I never play computer games, so I don't see the need for paying extra for an nVidia graphics card (and I don't want the heat issues, either). I just need decent enough graphics for basic computing and watching movies (I'm also considering the optional TV tuner). Thanks!
    :)

Yeah the 4500 is a pretty nice integrated card and should do the trick. :)

Bear in mind, if you ever change your mind, you will not be able to upgrade. The 9200 GS is a good in between, in case you think you might change your mind
