    I'm a noob sometimes...

Would this memory work on my laptop?

    Specs are in my signature.

Also...Will all 4GB be in use with the new Vista SP1?

    Thanks a lot!

    Yes that RAM will work.

You will need a 64bit OS to use up all 4gb. 32bit which is probably what your on right now can only make use of 3gb. SP1 might show 4gb but in reality its impossible for a 32bit OS to read all 4gb

Well I ordered it with Vista Ultimate and then when the re-configured all the parts on the same build they changed the name to Vista Ultimate 64x bit. I get it on Wednesday so I'll know by then but either way I'll probably get 4gb of this memory

That RAM will work with your system and flipfire covered the OS portion of seeing the full 4GB. It's amazing how cheap DDR2 RAM is getting these days. I remember less than a year ago I paid $200 for a decent set of 4GB of RAM.
