    I just found out that the HP Compaq 8710w will be coming out with Penryn processors and a powerful nVidia Quadro FX3600 512 MB video card (comparable to the 8800 GTX by the way :D )! This notebook will also offer up to 4 hours of battery life with the standard battery, and 9 hours with the extended battery! :eek: ) For a thin and light 17 inch computer with a solid build quality, this is great battery life! (considering the amazing video card, and Penryn processors). If you read the review of the current 8710p/w, people seem very happy with this notebook. Although there is some flex in the number pad, this will probably improve too! ;)

    It's not great news when we've known this since February. If you follow some of my posts, I've stated the availability of these models quite a while ago.

    In short, you can't buy an 8710w with 3600M yet.
