I get green flimmering in movies, no matter what codec or player. I only shows when i got ac power plugged, when on battery it works fine ???

I called telephonesupport they said probably better to change mobo/gfx card inside it. Anyone else know if it could be solved ? I updated graphic drivers.

I'd agree it's most likely a bad graphics card, artifacting is caused by overheating or damaged components. There really is no fix besides sending it in and having them replace the motherboard assembly.

They will probably use what is in stock, so maybe. The motherboards are basically compatible with each other, since the chassis and everything has remained the same. No guarantees though.

However, it does sound like your GPU wasn't happy with you. Usually, it runs at a higher clock rate and voltage when plugged in. That probably explains why you only saw it then.

Rumors have it the HP business laptops might be MXM (or similar), so you might only get a replacement GPU instead. However, I cannot confirm that and I'm only expressing the comments that other forum members have regarding their experiences with the nc8430 and nx9420.

Telephonesupport said i could take the harddrive out before they get it, otherwise i probably need to reformat it if they take it with them. What should i do you think ? ''

    What does mmx mean ?
I would´t complain to get core duo :) Even if my pM 2.13ghz is fast.

    Take it out...protect your data.

MXM is a not-so-often used notebook version of 16X PCIe (desktop GPU interface). Notebooks that have something like this basically have a modular GPU, and might be able to upgrade in the future, or just replace a mobo/GPU instead of both when trouble arises. Might.
