This is just driving me crazy. There is a grey dot on my lcd screen on my dv6129us. It's right on the top center of the screen. It doesn't appear to be a stuck pixel, i can't see it with a black screen (or very dark), it can be seen with red, blue, yellow and white. I tried the massage therapy but it didn't work and also one of those programs that is supposed to fix stuck pixels. No success. I did a search and the only thing i found was a possible persistent image. Is there any way to fix this issue, or am i stuck with it?? Please help.

You may be stuck with the computer if you only have a single stuck pixel, HP may not deem a single pixel "serviceable". The good news is that sometimes stuck pixels fix themselves over time.

    Thanks for the replies.
The thing that makes me wonder about it, is that it's not a single pixel, it's a round dot with approx. 6 of them in a circle. I personaly never seen a dead or stuck pixel before so i wouldn't know what one really looks like.

I had a green stuck pixel. The massage technique started to make the pixel flicker, but I didn't want to press harder. I tried the java app, that didn't work. The UDPixel program did work. I left it running for over two hours though.
